Happily Ever After Podcast - The Best of 2022 & Free Resources!
Dec 28, 2022On this week's podcast (episode 23), we're revisiting the best bits from the podcast this year. Here are some quick and easy links if you're looking for the podcasts we're talking about on instagram this week;
We're also sharing our favourite free resources but they're also detailed here for your browsing pleasure!
I came across this one while looking for a better way to streamline our workload. I've used Evernote before but much to my surprise it had this lovely new feature that included journaling templates. This way you can set them up on your phone and it's as simple as clicking a button. Here are some of my favorites;
Daily Focus and Energy Tracker
Next up is Insight Timer, again this is a free app that you can download onto your phone. One of my favourites is Jennifer Piercy's Yoga Nidra for Sleep. I often go back to this one if I can't sleep.
Also favourites;
Rain and Thunder Sound Therapy
Middle of the Night Meditation
Loving and Listening to Yourself
Lastly Borrow Box
This is essentially your entire local library at your fingertips. You can download the app via the iOS app store or for Android via Google Play to see if it's compatible with your local library. You have to sign up for your local library which I was able to do online.
Once you're up and running, the catalogue will depend on what's available at your local library too but it's always worth having a look when we recommend something.
At the minute, I'm reading 'The Molecule of More: How a Single Chemical in Your Brain Drives Love, Sex, and Creativityā€•and Will Determine the Fate of the Human Race' by Daniel Lieberman and Michael Long. It's really calling me out as a dopamine junkie! Interesting stuff.
If you have any questions or thoughts on any of the above, we'd love to hear from you. Do pop me a message! [email protected]
